97 850 Stalls when AC is on only at very low speed 850

Recharged my AC and it works fine. We've been having 100 + days here, and AC makes the world go round on days like this. However I was backing out of a parking space, after having run the AC for about 2 minutes to cool the cabin off, and the vehicle stalled just a bit ... didn't turn off, just "missed". When I pulled off at normal speed, things appeared to run fine. After travelling about 20 miles up the road, I get to a right-turn-on-red intersectgion, slowed down to about 5 mph to make the turn, and it stalled again. No dash panel lights came on or anything, just a "hiccup", just starts right back when I compensated with accelerator. Changed plugs and air filter about 4 months ago, -- wondering if anyone has any goot starting points.
