More information on the stalling base S70 1998 S70 1998

I seem to have an extremely unique problem that just isn't repeating itself often enough to help track the problem.

It has been at the dealer for a week now. Factory rep has stopped by to take a look at it twice.

The symptom is the main engine power relay disengages, killing power to the coil module and everything else. Jiggling the ignition cylinder doesn't seem to be causing it at this time.

Ideas?

We have a salvage ECU that is doing the same thing.

I'm going to return tomorrow and pull my Clifford alarm to make sure it didn't include an immobilizer relay. In most cases, alarms only have a relay to prevent the starter when armed.
