Bad Parts Experience V70-XC70

Two things. This is a poor forum to gripe about generic suppliers. I am glad to know that the fail point turned out to be the bushings and not metal fatigue. My motto, you get what you pay for. And watch out for the fine print!!

Next. Most dealers charge much too much for their parts. But there are a couple that are great. One of these is http://www.tascaparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?siteid=213668

located in Rhode Island. It is a Volvo dealer, so you get OEM parts and 1 year warrranty, and prices better than most parts stores.

For critical parts: engine, suspension, some electics, it is always better to go OEM. IPD has some great performance parts as well, but they also have some knock off items to make a profit from.
