BTW I do have four garages (don't laugh please -- the house came that way as the original owner had a need presumably). Three of them have garage door openers but I only use one (same one all the time) for my S80.

My house does have a security system built in and it would be very convenient to be able to arm and disarm this system from my car. I'd find that to be far more use than having #2 and #3 HomeLink buttons.

Incidentally, I find the HomeLink range to be extraordinary in that I can operate the garage door opener from some 500 feet distance.
