Regarding SErvice tune up and warranty S70 2000

I always thought that if you don't get the signitures on your book for tune ups, they will void the warranty. THat is why I was wondering about the regular service tune ups. Is there an explanation on this. By the way, this message was in regard to the tim message before on the service check up for 200 dollars.
