Attn All ECU upgraders 850 1995

Well now that I've got your attention here's my question. :) I'm looking at getting an ECU upgrade. I'm aware that it places more stress on you engine, etc. But, has anyone noticed an increase in mech. failure after upgrading their ECU. If so what seems to wear out more, etc. Also is it true that you only get the preformance increase in sports mode.
