My experience is that they are not. They've changed the part number but the results, as far as my experience, and several other is the same. After a couple of years they fail again. On the other hand there is always the lucky guy who has never had to replace his.

Did you expect the dealer to admit to there being a problem? Keep in mind they want everyone to believe it has only happened to them.
