Canadian 850 and V70 AWD 850 1997

As many of you already know, Volvo introduced the awd wagon in Canada in model year 1997. The cars were sold in small numbers in the Canadian market. Early 1998 v70 awd wagons probably had more in common with the 850 than the v70. Specifically, they were shipped with manual transmissions.

I have spoken with several other early model awd owners about sharing information, and they seem eager to participate. Please note - this is not a replacement for the service that Brickboard offers. It is simply a forum to share more detailed information and impressions about this short-run model. The intent is to avoid using Brickboard bandwidth for a relatively small interest group.

The forum will operate somewhat like a news group. Each particpant will maintain an email list of all other participants. I will take care of distributing updates to the email list. Your email should be addressed to all members of the distribution list.

The standard rules of netiquette apply. Make sure you keep you virus protection software up to date. If interested, email me.
