Timing Belt 850 1997

OK, checked car out, got VIN will call dealer on Monday to verify TB changeout, car was OK, some minor dents, good interior, but....

Front end gone: struts & probably ball joints needed, I can do. Use Volvo arms or is aftermarket OK, I'm leery.

Rear end: clunking bad, shocks completely gone, clunk could be broken shock or something else. Any issues with the rear suspension links that I need to know about?

Naturally, check engine light is on, owner claims an emission issue, said volvo wanted 1400 to fix. I'm thinking the air pump and egr, like my VW is suspect.

Otherwise, engine ran well, idles beautifully, no leaks, tranny shifted fine (auto, no OD lockout?).

As always thoughts appreciated.

Mike
