Just my luck...having just packed up for an upcoming move (only 18 miles away) I have no tools easily accessible and of course P0442 decided to show its face last night while I left my car idle at a local corner store.

Plan on digging a few tools out but just wanted to see what is the more likely culprit, bad gas cap, or is it the J hose on the evap cannister? Didn't want to drop the cash on a gas cap just to find its not needed and vice versa.

BTW having a CEL staring at you is very annoying ;-) - maybe its just me though.

Steve
