ATF color at 125,000 miles S70

Klaus,
You will be on this post, I just know it.

I am going to look at a used '99 S70 tomorrow night and it has 125k miles on it.
When I asked the guy selling it if the ATF was ever flushed his response was "If it ain't broke, don't flush it." Not the answer I was hoping for. So my question is, would this be a deal breaker if the ATF has never been flushed yet?
Can the ATF still be a pinkish-red color after that many miles?

Thanks for your responses.
