Volvo battery longevity S80 2005

All automotive batteries are made by just a few companies, different logos are then applied to make them look different. Most car owners experiance difficulities in the winter because the engine is harder to start when all of the fluids have the consistancy of mud.

A well tuned car with fresh synthetic oils should not have any problems and the battery life can exceed 7 years. If your car has had electrical problems that drain the battery and require frequent emergency charges, the life of the battery will be greatly diminished.

I replaced my aging battery after 8 years with another 'Volvo' battery, only because the price was equal to or better than Sears or Interstate. And, I knew it would fit properly.
