My transmission saga continues.....fault codes enclosed 850 1994

OK.....checked fault codes on A1 and A2 (shift light blinking and check engine light on). A1 reads 322 and A2 reads 111. I reset the fault codes on both A1 and A2. I also did the ratchet-thing (go from "P" to "L" on the gear shift 20 times). I restarted and shift light went out but check engine light still on. I tried to back out of garage and reverse is barely working and transmission defaults to 3rd gear when in drive.

Now what? Bad PNP switch that a simple reset won't fix?

Thanks.

Annette
