Hello, My '99 and 2002 non-turbos both used the 3 pronger from Volvo changed at, or before, the recommended 60K interval. I never noticed any improvement afterward so I figured I was experiencing no degradation; which was a good thing. I also concluded that the 3 prong Volvo plug was economical magic. At what year did the non-turbo engine get a different plug? While I have no complaint, I'd try a different plug if it was "peppier"; even if it didn't last ~60K. Kira ps Hurricane Irene broke up and slowed down (plain English description) after hitting North Carolina. New York and New Jersey got a lot of rain but nothing we hadn't seen before. Big winners: The reservoirs and aquifers. Big losers: Tourists trapped in hotel rooms with no public transportation. K
