What to lookout for in V70? V70-XC70 1998

I am a long time brick owner (all 740's). I have been looking for a V70, but I have been so picky I just haven't found what I am looking for... until last night on Craigslist.

All I know is this: 1998 V70 AWD; runs but not at "high rpm's," need fuel filter changed and it's 900 OBO "that comes to get it with a trailer."

I have been wondering "why don't you just change the filter and have a good car if that is all that is wrong?"

My question to the board is what problems should I be looking for? Does the V70 have any inherent problems? How do I check for them?
