What to lookout for in V70? V70-XC70 1998

I happen to like the 1998, no individual coil overs, no ETM, etc.

If it is AWD, then it has a turbo, so the intercooler piping cound be loose. If it idles OK but refuses to go over 2500rpm...

A $20 fuel filter is an easy fix, but if it has been clogged up for a long time, the pump could be going. The fuel pump can only be replaced by dropping the saddle tank - that means dropping the rear suspension! or cutting a hole in the floor!

If the check engine light is on, get the codes.

You didn't mention the miles. Will it need a timing belt and water pump?
