What to lookout for in V70? V70-XC70 1998

Lee,
I have a 98 V70 XC and I also took a lot of time in repairing many standard things that were wrong with the car. The best thing I did is remove the bevel gear and the prop shaft connecting to the rear. I had to remove the turbo so the bevel gear was in the way. I pulled the axle and removed it . Now I get better gas mileage and much better pickup. I also repaired the ABS modual that was the main reason the owners sold it. I also replaced all the tires and had it aligned by the best shop in the area.
Good luck with your new car, RK
