XC70 or V70? V70-XC70 2003

My '98 V70 was totaled thanks to a deer and I am looking to replace it with another V70 only a few years newer. I am having trouble finding a V70 in the 2004 to 2006 year range locally. I have found a 2004 XC70 with low miles at a reasonable price. Should I go ahead and get it or wait for a V70 to show up? I have no need for AWD here in Mississippi but it would not hurt since we do get snow a couple of times a year. Opinions, please.
