TIming Belt Change and healight question S60

I have a new to me, 05 Volvo S60 non turbo sedan. I posted a message a few days ago saying that my display was on showing "bulb failure--low beam." I changed the bulb and I still have no low beam on drivers side and of course the light is still on. I found the problem. I have a bad electrical plug. I just bypassed the plug and wired it straight from the working passenger side low beam. So now both are working. Now the problem is that I can't get the message off--"bulb failure--low beam." Does anyone know how to clear this message???

2nd Issue:
I am planning to tackle the timing belt and water pump next weekend. My question is are the markings clear and easy to find. If not, I just bought a repair guide from Ebay, will it help? What resources do I need to consult if I have trouble. Thanks ahead

Nate
