Keen Wheels Brake Dust Covers S60 2009

What good/bad can anyone tell me about Kleen Wheels dust covers or similar products. I know they do work as advertised as I had them on an older VW Jetta. I don't know how long I had them on but I remember hearing about the number one complaint about heat buildup on he rotors....I know that there are some good ceramic/ other non Volvo pads that produce less dust but also provide less braking capability.
