OK then, lease and you're out just under 27k. Buy it and you're out 41 (I assume you've still got a Volvo around to get the loyalty discount) minus whatever you can get what you sell it (probably ~25k, should get that as trade in). 16k vs 27k...

Also, Volvo website lists the AWD (what i assume to be the R, same total price) at 499/mo for 36 months. Why would it increase your price that much if you're willing to take another year?
