V70 unlocks itself V70-XC70 1998

Before you start to rip into the lock solenoid and such, play around with this and get a fix on its exact behavior. There are several little computers in that model and possibly three large ones. Odd software things can happen. Dealerships reset software all the time just to get the car to accept new keys. The car brain thinks that the car is completely locked and that that a break-in is occurring

When you turn the key once to lock, it drops down the locks except the drivers? Then a second turn locks the drivers side? Or is it the reverse? I can't remember. To lock the car in the evening, open the back door and reach in and manually lock the driver's side door with the door shut. Then close the back door and lock with the key making sure the hatch is locking too. See if this changes anything. If not ......software
