Sheepskin interferes with SIPS? 850 1996

Hi folks. I have been thinking of getting a sheepskin seatcover for the driver's seat on my 96 850, mostly because of some wear and tear I see developing on the leather. My question is, do you think that said seatcover would interfere with the deployment of the side airbag in an accident? I like the peace of mind that side airbag offers, and don't want it defeated by a seatcover. I am also curious if the seatcover would interfere with any of the power adjustment controls are hardware underneath the seat. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks!
