I doubt anyone here would know that but I'd call a Volvo dealers parts department and see if they can tell you if a '97 850 steering wheel (any) uses the same PN as a '98 S/V 70. There could be minor cosmetic differences that might make the PNs different even if the spines are the same though.

Another idea, try calling whoever's selling the Momo wheel as I'd think that they should know that.
