Re: Ghost in the Trunk S70 2000

The exact thing has happened to me and last time just the other day.. I mentioned to my wife that I think the car has a short of some kind that causes the trunk to open..

It last happened when I was driving..not hitting anything, no buttons, levers etc... light came on in the dash..i stopped the car and checked the trunk and it was open.. Its happened to me quite often and I usually thought I touched something.

Once I even shut the car door..didn't have the keys on me and all 4 doors locked!.. on the same day the trunked opened without me touching it..

I'v read so many Volvo horry stories re the electrical systems I assumed it was that.

BTW.. I NEVER shut the doors with the keys in the car any more.
