Front Brake Pads and Rotors V70-XC70 98

Hello, I am a new first time volvo owner of about 3 months. My car just turned over 40K miles and it is time to do the front brakes. I miked the rotors last night and they are right at 0.940" or 23.876mm thick. I understand the minimum rotor thickness is 23.8 mm, so I guess they need to be replaced. Are there any reasons I should not buy the Brembo rotors and PBR pads from IPD vs. OEM factory parts. IPD advertises that their pads offer longer rotor life. I searched the archives and only seemed to find info applying to 850's from a year or so back.

Thanks in advance,

John
