Re: Clunking from the front 850 97

Does this clunk ever occur while driving or hitting bumps?

I'm hesistant to blame the tranny because the tranny and engine are heavily monitored and if something were to go wrong with either, I'm pretty sure warning lights would have come on by now.

I had a clunk that would occasionally occur while braking as well as at other times. The clunk seemed to be coming from the tranny at times. And it turned out to be a broken anti sway bar.

I have read many gripes about rear IPD bars that broke soon after install on the 850 as well as a few front anti sway bars that didn't seem to last very long. I know it is brand new, but it very well could be.
