No start 99 V70 glt V70-XC70

Talk about a headache. Okay a month ago my Lock cylinder wouldn't release the key. So for the short term, i just decided to leave the key in the ignition & just lock the doors, when needed. as silly as that sounds, it's not like i live in Newark... I had a drivers window problem, so last weekend i jumped in the car back it in the garage & pulled forward and 5 feet & the car cuts off by it's self and rolls in the garage. I tried to fire it up, it would run for 2 seconds and cut off. So i at least fixed my window, with all the information here it was a breeze, but now I'm onto my no start problem (or keep running problem however you look at it).

Now i didn't have any codes showing before & i don't have any codes now, but my car won't start. It will fire up for about two seconds & just cut off. It has me stumped. The only light that was on, was my SRS light, i don't see how that could cause a problem. I hook up my OBD2 meter It doesn't show any pending codes either, while I'm cranking the car over. I would like to say that the car never ran rough before this, it was a real joy to drive, it would rev up to 1200 then drop to about 900rpm ish... It really doesn't "run" rough now, it just dies right after startup

I did find out that if i lower my steering wheel (Normally i have it up as far as possible)That my key comes out of the lock cylinder with ease.

So could it be my switch? Or is my lock cylinder just worn? Or am I in the wrong ballpark. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
