Which glue to use for 'mini hub cap'? 850 97

I need to glue back on the center 'Volvo' wheel cap. I have the 5 spoke T5 wheels, and the piece is round, black, a bit bigger than a silver dollar, made of a thin metal that says Volvo on a black backgound. The part of the wheel that it's glued to is made of plastic.

Any thoughts on what glue to use? It looks as though it was glued on originally. I pulled it off (it was loose) before it fell off.

FWIW: Haynes Volvo 850 manuals from Amazon.com take much longer than 2-3 days, unlike what the site says. I'm at a week, and they just said it would be longer still because they're having trouble gettin 'em.

FWIW2: Got some stuff from IPD for routine maintenance. Bosch Fuel filter: it's *huge* - as tall as a beer, not including the stems, and probably 40% greater in diameter. Bosch part# F 5216. Magnetic oil drain plug - great idea, anyone tried one?
