Heat when settings set to cool S70

I am in manual mode because whenever my dad rides with me he changes the controls and i forget to change them back or i dont notice. But my dad says, i set the controls to cool and there is still heat my car doesnt do that there is something wrong with yours?

I wouldnt think the auto would do anything different when not wanting heat?
