Re: Split CV Boot 850 1995

Sorry. I don't know how long it will take. Never had the probelm on my volvo. I had both CV boots replaced on a VW Jetta a month ago, but there was some other work going on as well, and I don't know what the time was for only the boots.

Maybe you could call a couple of shops to get an estimate, if you are curious. But its not as if you won't get it done. It has to be done. Its a hell of a lot cheaper to replace the boot than the CV joint itself (with a cracked boot, dirt and crap can get into the CV joint). My fatherin-law had his CV joint go out on his 850 (for no apparnet reason) and I think the part alone was around $700.
