Winter tires S80

How often do you actually drive in snow?

Volvo seems to use narrow tires already. I have a friend who drives rally cars - you would not believe how narrow his snow tires are.

I am considering wider winter tires for our 850s because the roads here (Massachusetts) are often clear or wet.

Studs make matters worse in the dry - they did save our '90 744 TI when I realized that the welding truck in front of me had stopped - no brake lights - I had to stuff Evander into a snow bank between the truck and a telephone pole with about 6 inches to spare.
