Harsh clunking shift V70-XC70 1999

My 1999 XC has been experiencing intermitent harsh shifting since it was new. It now has 32,000 kms on the odometer. After several visits to the dealer they changed the trans. fluid and said this was all they could do but were aware of the problem on the XC in general. It seems the accumulator cannot react quick enough if the throttle is released just before a shift is to occur, and the whole drive train shudders and bangs with the harsh shift. A torn upper motor mount was replaced at 20,000 kms, which the dealer says was due to a faulty rubber compound. I would think this was more a symptom of the problem than the cause as the problem still persists. Are there any ideas out there I can bring to my dealer to resolve this most annoying and embarassing problem? HELP!
