Hello, Read the package and be certain you get the 5 watt bulb. The old 193 (3 watt) and 194 (4 watt) look the same. They are not. The base is thicker in the 5 watt. A 193 or 194 might light up temporarily but will flicker. Heaven only knows what that flashing might do to the car's processors. Kira
