1993 850 Control Module Question (ECU ECM ICM EZK) 850

I'm attempting to diagnose a no-start problem. I have the diagrams and pinouts (shows voltage only, no resistance) from Alldata for the ECMs/ECUs. I am assuming that all ground sockets in the connectors should show full continuity (i.e. little or no resistance). Is this correct, because I have one socket that shows some resistance (the "Ground, Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) (Lambdason)" and several that show no continuity at all (both Knock Sensors, the Cam Position Sensor, RPM Sensor, Mas Airflow Sensor, Throttle Position Sensor).

Visual inspection of the wiring harness at lower of rear of engine (driver side) shows some wiring harness sheath disintegrating. Before I replace anything I want to understand the ECM/ECU.

Thanks for your help!
