Bill, you're obviously a kindred spirit. Yes, the front drives, of other makes too, are concerning to rear drive aficionados like us. Simplicity being the key. Hence my desire for no turbos or AWDs. As I said elsewhere, it's a foregone conclusion that anything newer will have to be front drive and will have a lot of electronics on it. Sigh. If I find suitable solutions, I will definitely pass them on.
