Jack, I did look at your link to the head gasket replacement chronicle. Very detailed and well done. Noted the R & R of the timing belt. Yes, more involved than our B230Fs. "Sideways" engines are always an accessibility challenge.

Yes, 5 owners and low miles is an interesting occurrence. The Carfax, as I mentioned, showed no major electronic component replacements. A sticker on an airbox showed as of '07 it has 87K on it so the mileage must be accurate. Interesting quandary of decision! Thinking...and the car is still on their website (as of last night).
