Re: Font type S70 1998

I used to work for the U.S. consulting firm that designed the Volvo dealership signage program back in the '70s--the top-to-bottom-lit blue and white "hockey stick" design. I just reviewed some old materials and noticed that we did not identify that type style, meaning that it was a custom logo, at least as far as spacing goes. Back then type was less available in varying weights. But it's a pretty generic looking serif font, a heavied-up Garamond or something. I don't have time right now to look through a type book but might come back tomorrow to fill this in. 400-plus HP?
