Tyre recommendations, anyone? 850 1996

Hi,

I'll be looking for tyres for my '96 850R shortly (another 5000 kms or so). I currently have Bridgestone Potenza S02 205/50/17s on the car, and am very happy with them, although they haven't lasted very long (they've done 26 000 kms so far). And no, I don't drive like a maniac - well, not too often, anyway ;-)

I'm wondering whether to replace them with the same tyres, or Pirelli P0s, or I've heard good things of Toyo tyres. I want to keep the 50 profile, in order to protect the wheels (lots of potholes here). Does anyone have any input for me? Much appreciated ... BTW 1 mile is about 1.6 kilometre.
