rear shocks 850

HI All:

Just finished removing my parking parking brakes on my 94 850......the springs had rusted and broke and they were spinning around in the drum. Never used them anyway. In any case i pulled a shock and my 5 year old bilstien touring shocks have had it. I was never really happy with them as they were kind of rough. Any one have a suggestion for a soft shock? The OEM mono tube shocks are now Sachs dual piston shocks and are kind of rough like the bilstiens. I was thinking of monroe or KYB this time.
