Oil water mix

I was doing some maintenance to my 99 s80 2.9 today and found something disturbing. Recently it has been using coolant so I was replacing some questionable heater hoses. When I removed the air duct from the bottom of the intake I found an oil and water mix in the tube. A few weeks ago I thought my wife may have blown the head gasket again when she told me it ran hot( she does not understand the concept of reading gauges). But I filled the coolant back up and it ran fine. This is the first time I have ran across the oil water mix in an intake air duct. Any thoughts or tips before I start with the compression test tomorrow?
