fixer upper S70 1998

Happy New Year all...happy owner of a '98 S70 NA...do as much of my own work as possible, given what shops charge per hour...have a chance to jump on a '98 GLT in need of a head gasket, $1000 OBO, seems pretty clean in online posted pics, with lots of new parts recently installed, 200k on the odo tho'....I'm a decent shade tree mechanic, but never r'n'rd a head before...how tough a job is this? thinking of flipping car, if I can turn a few dollars... all input is sought and very much appreciated...
