1999 A/C still having issues . . . V70-XC70 1999

I posted a while back with issues related to my air conditioning. It worked flawlessly all summer. Then we hit a deer. I had to replace the condenser. Even before I replaced the condenser, the A/C compressor wouldn't kick in normally. It was very intermittent.

Now, the compressor will not turn on. Period. At this point, I have:

-Got a can of coolant into the system
-tried jumpering the high cutoff
-bypassed the compressor thermo switch
-checked the compressor bullet connection
-checked all A/C fuses
-did the bread clip fix years ago

When I checked the relay, I had my wife turn the A/C switch on and off from inside the car. The relay did not engage. Odd, methinks.

Where do I go from here? Anyone have some excellent, simple fix?
