INCONSISTENT IDLING S70

Hello all,

I have a 1998 S70 GLT.

Two days ago, I noticed that when I started the car the idling went up and slowly go down -- about two to three times this happened (as if someone slightly stepped on the gas pedal and then let go slowly). The car ran fine that day.

Today, I start the car and the idling was fine for a minute or two and then the idling goes up and down once or twice then the car dies. I started it three times and the same thing, idling goes down until the engine stops.

I started the car a fourth time and the idling was fine for a few minutes until I turned on the A/C and then the RPM started to go down and suddenly up. No check engine light.

I don't feel comfortable driving it. Any ideas, suggestions, comments?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I just had the 90k mile service done last month (LOF Synthetic, cabin & air filters, new plugs, antifreeze; inspected battery, drive belt, A/T fluid, etc)
