Instrument cluster going awry on S70 S70 1999

Hey all,

I'm currently having a problem with the instrument cluster in my '99 S70 (base 2.4) that I don't know where to get to. Right now, I'm up in arms as to what it is.

Here's what happens - when driving normally, I notice both the Brake and ABS lights go on simultaneously. Then the odometer display goes blank except for lines where the digits usually are. If I'm driving at speed, the speedometer needle returns to 0 and stays there - if I'm stopped at a standstill, it doesn't move. However, this happens only occasionally, about once or twice every two weeks. The Brake and ABS lights will eventually go off, and the speedometer and odometer start working fine again.

What do you think this is? Do I need to remove the cluster to clean it? Any advice is much appreciated.
