Help w/Stiff NEW Bilstein HD Shocks!! V70-XC70

Just put in some Bilsteins(from IPD) all around on my girls 06 v70! I knew the ride was going to be stiff but really rides like a truck. I did carry a heavy load and seemed a bit smoother so I will put a couple of 100# bags in the back see if that helps. A shame to carry extra weight. Will they every break in ? any other suggestions?
PS I did a thourough search for reg shocks not the HD and Bilstein did not make them.
