Sport Suspension/17" Wheel/DSTC - Worth it? S60

Is the Sport Suspension and 17" wheel option for the S60 T5 worth the $1,450 Cdn? I know (at least in Cdn) the 17" tires are all season and not summer only high performance tires.

How about the DSTC? From what I have read from R&T, they weren't able to get the DSTC to activate on the S80 even when they were driving aggressively.
