04' V70 Pros and Cons V70-XC70

Bill, For what it is worth: I am the 2nd owner of a 2004 V70 (bought with 60K miles and have just turned 130K. I had a dipstick handle break ($28) and the rest has been normal maintainance (t-belt, plugs, etc). We have progressed from a 240,740,940 850 to my 2004 v70 and my wife's 2003 V70XC. The car is more complex than our earlier models, but overall I don't think it has been any more expensive getting to 130K miles. I do think the next 100K will be the real test of all the electronics they have burried in the car. The 2004 has far more safety features than our 850. Art
