1994 Fuel Pressure Regulator 850

Hello,

I have a 1994 n/a 850 that does not start and seems to be flooded. When I attempt to start it fuel leaks profusely from the throttle body. I am assuming the diaphragm in the fuel pressure regulator is bad and is just dumping fuel into the intake manifold and then works its way to the throttle body or it is going directly to the tree via the vacuum hose. Is there anyway I can test the fuel pressure regulator before I go drop $100 on a new one? Has anyone ever seen this before.

Thank You
