Intermittant Will not Turn over S80 2005

I have instrument lights when the key is turned.
Have not seen and corrosion at battery and will check voltage at battery. I have not tried jumper cables. After I try to start the car several times it will eventually turn over and start normally.

I looked at the connections at the starter and nothing was obviously loose. I'll take the wires off this weekend and and make sure everything is making good contact. I noticed the starter is a rebuilt NAPA unit so maybe the previous owner had this issue and a mechanic changed out the starter. It was an auction car so I don't know the history.
When I turn the key to start I hear a slight click in the engine compartment.
When I turn again to start I don't hear the click. Thank you for your help.
